These terms apply to the Rotten Potatoes app and website, run by Dumpster Fire Industries (“we”). By using Rotten Potatoes, you agree to them.
What Rotten Potatoes is
Rotten Potatoes is a social art piece and entertainment. Its rankings, scores, trophies and labels are automated calculations from public numbers on public social media accounts, presented in a playful, satirical voice. They are not statements of fact about anyone’s character, talent or worth, and they aren’t professional, financial or business advice.
Accuracy
Scores depend on public data that can be incomplete, delayed or wrong, and on automated comment classification that can make mistakes. We don’t guarantee any ranking or score is accurate, complete or current.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 to use Rotten Potatoes.
- Keep your sign-in secure. You’re responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app.
Acceptable use
Don’t use Rotten Potatoes to harass, threaten or target anyone; to scrape or copy the service; to interfere with it; or for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Creators
If you’re a ranked creator and have a concern about how you appear, email us and we’ll review it.
Our content
The app, design, artwork and branding belong to Dumpster Fire Industries. Social media handles, names and profile pictures belong to their owners and are shown only to identify ranked public accounts.
No warranty; limits on liability
Rotten Potatoes is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of it.
Changes
We may update these terms. If you keep using Rotten Potatoes after an update, you accept the new terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA.
